Arandmi

Home  /  About

Nobody tells you about the light until after you have paid

Arandmi exists to close the gap between what an agent says about an area and what the people living in it already know.

Why we built it

The most expensive thing you cannot see on an inspection

You can inspect a flat in an hour. You can check the plumbing, the tiles, the security. What you cannot check, standing in an empty living room at eleven in the morning, is whether the light goes off at six every evening and stays off, or whether the fibre on that street collapses the moment everyone gets home.

That information exists. It is sitting with the people who already live on that street, and it has never had anywhere to go.

Arandmi is that place. Residents rate two things about their own neighbourhood: power supply and internet quality. Everyone else gets to see the answer before they sign a two-year lease on a guess.

What we stand on

Three rules we do not bend

Residents only

Every rating comes from somebody who lives, or has lived, in the area. Not visitors, not agents, not developers. If you have a commercial interest in how an area scores, you do not get to rate it.

No paid placement

Nobody can buy a better score, buy their way to the top of a search, or pay to have a review removed. The number you see is the plain average of what residents submitted, and it always will be.

Honest about our limits

We publish opinion, not measurement. Below 25 reviews we say so plainly instead of dressing up thin data as a verdict. We would rather tell you an area is unknown than tell you something confident and wrong.

How the data works

From one resident’s evening to an area’s score

The platform only works if people like you fill it in

One minute of your time saves someone else a two-year mistake. Rate the area you live in.
